Ironically, when this disc was released it was Jackson, with his pioneering Modern Jazz Quartet, who was the more famous of the two men. Here, being perhaps the greatest vibist of all time, he rocks the vibes and even tries his hand at a little guitar and piano. Brother Ray, on the other hand, wows us with his amazing piano playing and did you know he was also an excellent sax player?
