The digital section is based on the newest Burr Brown PCM1792A chipset and a new, lower jitter clock. The analog outputs section gives this player its remarkably smooth, analog-like signature. In addition, the digital inputs (coaxial, optical) on the back are perfect for connecting any other digital source, like a Wadia iTransport, to take advantage of the incredible DAC and analog outputs.
