Choose the built-in phono preamp for a minimum of installation fuss, this built-in option is a very decent addition, with a warm, rich tonal balance and plenty of detail. Simply plug the turntable into any normal line-in (just as you would a CD player) and you're ready to play vinyl. For those looking for higher performance, choose the TT-42 without the phono preamp and you'll have the flexibility to choose a wonderful phono preamp to match up with this table.
