Rudy Van Gelder's original Blue Note 2-track analog tapes were meticulously mastered to XRCD by engineer Alan Yoshida and producer Joe Harley. Each XRCD comes with deluxe hard-bound book style packaging with original liner notes and high resolution B&W session photos. These are the highest quality analog to digital transfers from tape to CD available!

Backed by a powerhouse group of musicians, this set kicks off with the Stanley Turrentine composed "Look Out." The rhythm section, consisting of George Tucker and Al Harewood, makes way for some bouncing solos from Horace Parlan on the piano and Turrentine's sax.
