Since they were making a change, they decided to improve the preamp section with all audiophile-grade caps and resistors. They also upgraded the power supply allowing the amp to deliver gobs of current to drive almost any load. The digital section has been greatly enhanced and is exactly the same 32bit Sabre DAC that’s inside the iDac. 

The iNova preamp section uses a super-sweet 6N1P input tube in pure Class-A, for greater extension and more soul with any source. This softly glowing tube is coupled to a robust Mos-FET amplifier section with an enormous power supply. This powerful amplifier section coupled to the silky-smooth preamp section creates a match made in heaven.
