Simply plug your iPad, iPhone or iPod into the iStreamer; plug the iStreamer into its included power supply and your home entertainment system. From the iPod 'App' on iPad or iPhone or directly on iPod simply push 'play' and enjoy unmatched sound quality and convenience. Using ultra high performance circuitry and host mode of operation (eliminating interface jitter), the iStreamer renders the CD player and CD library obsolete. For the first time, enjoy a level of sound quality never before possible from a portable audio device.

12VDC or 115VAC Power supply
The iStreamer is available with two different power supplies, one plugs directly into 115VAC US wall sockets, the other is a cigarette lighter adapter for use in cars, boats and RVs. Either power supply can be used with any iStreamer, as both power supplies deliver 5VDC @ 2.1Amps. Unless the iStreamer will be dedicated exclusively for vehicle use, we recommend purchasing the version with the 115VAC power supply and adding the HRT 12VDC adapter.

Do not use other DC adapters with the iStreamer; the HRT 12VDC adapter is unique in that it delivers a full 2.1Amps of current, 2x - 4x more current than the generic DC adapters used for cell phones etc. This allows charging of all iDevices, including the iPad even while they are being used to play music through theiStreamer!

The iStreamer provides full support for applications designed to run on an iPad,iPhone or iPod. The iStreamer allows you to connect to a home entertainment, television or stereo system to listen in high quality to Internet radio, streaming music and movies from providers such as Rhapsody™, Napster™, Pandora™, Netflix™ and other online services.

iPods, iPads and iPhones simply don't have enough battery power to supply both theiStreamer and play music, so HRT includes an outboard power supply that plugs into the Mini-USB connector.
