John Patton Oh Baby! on LP 

John Patton's master work Oh Baby! features a fine mix of funky organ and straight ahead hard bop. Joining Patton on the session are Harold Vick on tenor, Blue Mitchell on trumpet, Ben Dixon on drums, and Grant Green on guitar and their output here is about as sharp as you can get from a Blue Note organ session. All tracks are relatively long, and most of them are originals from Patton, Vick, or Dixon.
