Cass McCombs Catacombs on Vinyl LP! 

Catacombs is Cass McCombs' 4th album and his 2nd for Domino. This album is another stride in his evolution as a great American singer/songwriter. Though the album wouldn’t be described as “stripped down,” its sound evokes a return to his early, simpler sounding, works A and PREfection. It is full of storied songs flush with emotional relevance and accessibility. Each track on Catacombs provides rich context for its listeners: cloaked in shiver inducing melodies which lay the perfect foundation for Cass’ true source of transcendence, his vocals and lyrics. The first single from Catacombs, “Dreams-Come-True-Girl,” features a fantastic vocal contribution from Academy Award and Grammy nominated singer actress Karen Black. She also takes a sublime star turn in the video for the song.
