Harbors, like any great album, defines its artists and has the power to further define its listener. It's meticulous and soulful. All Tiny Creatures began adding the human voice right as the instrumental Segni was hot o the presses, bringing in friends and collaborators old and new to conceptualize and vocalize with the eleven compositions that would grow into the album. The process was audibly liberating; these were instruments that could talk back, that could translate All Tiny Creatures' music into multiple languages.

Harbors is an album of transformative repetition, pulling from the same well as their Krautrock forebears, guys like Steve Reich and Terry Riley, and even the greater history of rhythmic percussion found the world over. Via guitars, drums, synths, and computers, All Tiny Creatures captures the mood of a sunrise, the mood of a factory line, and the mood inside your head, all at once. This is truly modern music.
