Datarock Red on Vinyl LP! 

The long awaited follow up from the irrepressible Norwegian duo sees both '80s and modern day influences intertwined to create a landmark release. Red is a thoroughly unashamed love letter from Fredrik and musical partner Ketil Mosnes' to the influences that made Datarock what they are today. DEVO, Yellow Magic Orchestra, Haruki Murakami, Don Delillo's White Noise, Scott Walker and the works of John Hughes and Peter Greenaway are all referenced. The duo does a  fine balancing act here of sounding both modern and retro, and altogether funny. Highlights include the album's centerpiece and single "The Pretender" and "Amarillion" among others.
