Formed in 2006 and discovered by music mogul Alan McGee, the Glaswegian four-piece Glasvegas releases their highly anticipated self-titled debut album recorded with Rich Costey (Interpol, Muse). Their wall of sound is equal parts Jesus and Mary Chain, Elvis and Phil Spector combined with a pop sensibility inspired by '60s Girl Group pop and Doo Wop. The album debuted at #2 in the U.K. on the strength of the hit singles "Geraldine" and "Daddy's Gone."
