One of the hardest-hitting electric sets ever cut by Ramsey Lewis. Ramsey's on both Fender Rhodes and acoustic piano here, and is supported by guitarist Phil Upchurch, Cleveland Eaton and drummer Morris Jennings. The tracks are a bit longer than usual for Ramsey and often hit the down-n-dirty modes that are reminiscient of of the '70s work of Les McCann and Junior Mance.
