The Wooden Birds is the new project of American Analog Set frontman Andrew Kenny and it's his best work to date. Kenny creates a much more vocal-and percussion-driven sound here than that of the keyboard-and-vibes-hypnotics of the American Analog Set and his voice and ear for melody and rhythm are in top form. The Wooden Birds also includes Ola Podrida, songwriter and David Gordon Green film score composer David Wingo, co-producer Chris Michaels, vocalist, guitarist and American Analog Set guest artist Leslie Sisson and Lymbic System drummer Michael Bell.
