Meg & Dia’s self-released first album, Our Home Is Gone (2005), and live shows caught the attention of Doghouse Records, which signed the band. Their 2006 EP, Something Real was indie released in 2005 before Warner Bros. reissued the disc the following year, spawning the fan favorite singles “Roses” and “Monster.”
