Each LP is mastered from the original analog tapes by Ron McMaster. Each state-of-the-art CD is mastered in 24-bit by Rudy Van Gelder, the original recording engineer of these historic sessions. These releases are iconic, not just for the music inside, but also for the stunning, legendary album covers, which are works of art in themselves.

One of the best known record dates in the history of modern jazz, the chemistry here among Adderley, Miles Davis, Hank Jones, Sam Jones and Art Blakey is amazing. Their reworkings of "Autumn Leaves" and "Love For Sale" are masterpieces not to mention Miles' title tune and Nat Adderley's "One For Daddy-O" which are hands down classics. The CD version includes a bonus track not found on the original LP.
