The self-titled Metallica (aka "The Black Album"), the band’s fifth studio album, remains one of the biggest-selling albums in music history. The 1991 blockbuster has sold more than 15 million copies in the U.S. and 22 million units worldwide. With some of the group’s most popular and radio-friendly songs, including the hits “Enter Sandman,” “The Unforgiven” and “Nothing Else Matters,” Metallica debuted at #1 and made the band into one of the biggest artists in the world.
