Produced by the great Norman Whitfield, The Temptations 1972 release, All Directions is a masterful collection of heavy harmony soul! The album finds the group working in a number of different modes, from heavy early 70s funk on cuts like "Funky Music Sho Nuff Turns Me On" and their great cover of Isaac Hayes "Do Your Thing," to mellower mature covers, like "Love Woke Me Up This Morning" and "First Time I Ever Saw Your Face." Also includes the long version of "Papa Was A Rolling Stone" and "Run Charlie Run."
