The Cure's 13th studio album is entitled 4:13 Dream and its the band's first since 2004's The Cure. "There are songs about relationships, the material world, politics and religion. They're upfront and dynamic," explains Robert Smith. "People will be surprised how stripped-down and in-your-face the record is." Led as always by lead singer/guitarist Smith, the rest of the Cure line-up is comprised of long-time bass player Simon Gallup, drummer Jason Cooper and back in the band for a third time around, guitarist Porl Thompson.
