Originally released on Tico in 1962, Vaya Puente showcases “The King” at his best and features a variety of musical styles. Recorded at the Hotel Riverside Plaza ballroom, as were many of the Roulette releases, the album is drenched in hot Cuban rhythms in a variety of tempos. With a solid cast of players and writers, the album is a tribute to Tito’s high standards and musical master and even has a Brazilian twist on the track “Sambaroco” written by Joao Donato. An all time classic, now reissued on vinyl for the first time.

All Fania reissues have undergone remastering from the original ¼ inch tapes. All remastered releases feature a fuller, dynamic range and rich textured sound.
