For over a decade, indie rockers Love As Laughter have been mixing eclectic musical influences and blending them into a unique defining sound. Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Love as Laughter is fronted by Sam Jayne and also includes drummer Zeke Howard, keyboardist Robbie Lee, second guitarist Andy Macleod and new bassist Ivan Berko. The band's distinctive sound can only be described as a melting pot of artists such as the Beach Boys, Jimmy Buffet and Neil Diamond.

For their newest album, Love as Laughter made a career changing move to Isaac Brocks’ (Modest Mouse) Glacial Pace imprint on Epic. Backed by producer Joe Blaney (Clash, Ramones, Keith Richards, Tom Waits), and recording in New York City’s West Village, Love as Laughter created the supernaturally inspired Holy. The band has delivered a variety of contrasts to create a complex and thought provoking musical experience. It’s the mélange of content; old and new, living and supernatural, holy and profane which makes Holy the best the group has ever recorded.
