Since the release of 2005's Hex: Or Printing In The Infernal Method on Southern Lord Records to much fanfare and acclaim, Earth has been experiencing a resurgence in popularity. Hence, the re-introduction of the doom-metal experimentalists' catalog on vinyl. Commandeered by Dylan Carlson, the Seattle band comes off as a slower and more textured recreation of Black Sabbath on 1996's Pentastar: In The Style of Demons as it delicately balances heavy riff-based rock with ambient, atmospheric songs.
