Hayden was picked up in the 90's by Geffen offshoot Outpost Recordings and was thrust into the spotlight with his MTV hit "Bad As They Seem." Staying busy with touring and a slew of singles, EPs and a popular cut on the soundtrack to the movie Trees Lounge, Hayden has managed to develop a cult-following. His critically acclaimed, fifth full-length studio album entitled, In Field And Town was recorded and produced by Hayden himself in his home studio in Ontario, Canada and has been continuously heralded as the album of his career since its release in January on his own Hardwood Records.  It features 11 top quality songs that perfectly match his deep infectious voice and toe-tapping folk tunes.
