Pestilence's new album Doctrine is by far the most extreme album the Dutch death metal band has unleashed to date and it proves that even after 25 years the band is still willing to take chances. The release offers thought provoking lyrics, dissonant chords, complex rhythm patterns and an assault of low tuned monster riffs. Doctrine also marks a partly new line-up that is entirely Dutch again. Produced by Patrick Mameli, Yuma van Eekelen and Victor Bullok and engineered by Victor Bullok.
