Nordost cables use multiple, individually insulated solid core conductors. Their use virtually eliminates distortion and skin effect. Their extrusion process is the best in the business. Once extruded, it cannot ever degrade or oxidize, ensuring Nordost cables will last a lifetime. Any conventional cable using PVC or Polyethylene insulators has begun to deteriorate from the moment of manufacture resulting in an imperfect surface which compromises signal integrity.
