Designed specifically for the VPI Scoutmaster with the 12" platter, this upgrade kit reduces motor vibration and noise for a smoother, richer, deeper presentation. 

The stock motor on the Scoutmaster runs at 600RPM, the 300RPM motor kit slows the rotation bringing the Scoutmaster's performance closer to Aries level.  A custom-machined pulley is mounted to the motor; this pulley is larger than stock, allowing the motor to spin the platter at the perfect speed.

The kit includes a new motor, new capacitors and a new pulley and requires assembly.  This is not a difficult project and requires only modest technical ability.
