The Beatles Please Please Me was rush-released in March of 1963 to capitalize on the enormous success of the title track which had been the group’s second single and their first #1. Ten of the album’s fourteen tracks were recorded in just one day in February of 1963 and included a mixture of stage favorites and Lennon/McCartney originals. The four remaining songs had been committed to tape in 1962 having formed the B-side of their debut release and both sides of their second single.

Re-mastered here on Mono CD by a dedicated team of engineers at EMI's Abbey Road Studios in London utilizing state-of-the-art recording technology alongside vintage studio equipment, carefully maintaining the authenticity and integrity of the original analog recordings. The result of this painstaking process is the highest fidelity Please Please Me has seen since its original release. Packaged as a mini LP replica.
