The Musical Fidelity V-CAN headphone amplifier has been given both internal and external updates. The outer chassis is now more befitting of the high-quality internal components inside. The new MKII version includes an improved, all-discreet analog amplifier stage that will drive any pair of headphones with ease. Extension at the frequency extremes is enhanced with a much more natural portrayal of voices and instruments. A lower noise floor and less distortion also add to the realism. We can’t imagine hearing anything better for less than two hundred bucks.
