Paired with the PWT, the combination produces sound comparable to digital systems up to ten times their price. The PWD decode virtually any sampling rate and offers many different up-sampling options. We prefer the sound of this package at the original native sampling rate (standard 16bit/44.1kHz for CDs) through PS Audio's HDMI-12 i2s cable connected to the PWT.
