Fuck Death is the highly anticipated third album from the critically revered Carey Mercer project Black Beach. One of Canada's most acclaimed cult songwriters, as well as one of its most prolific, Mercer also performs in Frog Eyes and Swan Lake.

Named after a Leon Golub painting, Fuck Death is a sibling to the last Blackout Beach record, Skin of Evil and was three years in the making. Mercer recorded the album by herself, using three synthesizers (two mono, one poly), two drum machines and one guitar amplifier, and is accompanied here on vocals by Megan Boddy.
