The Weakerthans Fallow on LP + CD
The Weakerthans come from Winnipeg, Manitoba, the geographic center of North America. Their deeply lyrical music speaks of the vast open spaces and broken industrial dreams in which it was created. Founded in 1997 by former Propagandhi bassist turned guitarist/frontman John K. Samson, The Weakerthans hold deep roots in the indie scene, with drummer Jason Tait also recording and touring as part of Toronto indie collective Broken Social Scene. Anti/Epitaph Records are thrilled to be re‐releasing two seminal albums by the band. For the first time the acclaimed band’s catalog has been united, as their classic albums Fallow (1997) and Left And Leaving (2000) join more recent Anti offerings including the critically heralded Reunion Tour, of which Paste magazine said, “If such a prize existed, it would be the leading candidate for this year’s Punk Pulitzer.” This vinyl LP re-release of The Weakerthans debut album, Fallow also includes a CD of the entire album. The Weakerthans Fallow Track Listing: 1. Illustrated Bible Stories for Children 2. Diagnosis 3. Confessions Of A Futon‐ Revolutionist 4. None Of The Above 5. Letter Of Resignation 6. Leash 7.
