Buggles Adventures In Modern Recording on 180g Import LP

The English new wave band the Buggles consisted of Trevor Horn (vocals/bass/guitar) and Geoff Downes (keyboards/drums/percussion), renown for their 1979 debut single "Video Killed the Radio Star" which hit #1 on the singles chart in 16 different countries. 1981's Adventures in Modern Recording, their second and last studio album made one year after their stint as members of Yes, most notably contains a stripped-down version of Yes' "Into the Lens," here entitled "I Am a Camera." Unfortunately the Buggles broke up during the recording of the album, with Downes joining Asia and Horn becoming a producer, later working with such artists as Robbie Williams, Belle & Sebastian and Rod Stewart. This 180g audiophile vinyl release of Adventures In Modern Recording comes with a lyric insert and includes 3 bonus tracks.
