Free's eponymous second album, recorded and released in 1969, features a 9-song set written almost entirely by the burgeoning songwriting team of Paul Rodgers and Andy Fraser. Produced by Island Records founder Chris Blackwell, the album generated the singles "Broad Daylight" and "I'll Be Creeping," the latter of which would be covered by Three Dog Night.
