Formed out of the ashes of the Cleveland, OH-based band Paper Sun, harmony-rich pop rock band Freeport joined the Mainstream Records label for this, their 1970 eponymously titled debut album. The Bob Shad produced 9-song collection is built around the distinctive multi-part vocal harmonies of Kevin Raleigh, Roger Lewis and Dennis Stredney and features several strong originals plus the Eric Carmen song "I Need Your Lovin."
