Bjork & Ingolfssonar Trio Gling-Glo on Import LP

In the midst of her work with her Icelandic college-rock band The Sugarcubes and prior to striking it big with Debut, Björk teamed up with the Gudmundar Ingólfssonar Trio on a set of traditional Icelandic jazz tunes.  Her voice is incredibly enthusiastic, exciting and upbeat here and it was the last bit of pure jazz she ever recorded. The album went platinum upon its original 1990 release and showcases Bjork's voice in a way that's unique and truly remarkable.
