Easy Way Out is the second full-length and Partisan Records debut from Virgin Forest which features former members of Castanets and 4 out of 5 of the performing band from Phosphorescent. Countless tours and life on the road has resulted in such a  hard-won chemistry and fluidity that when it came time to record Easy Way Out, no rehearsals were even necessary, they had already lived and breathed these songs.

Easy Way Out is a balls-out rock record made by guys who honed their craft in front of live audiences and who make no bones about who they are and where they're coming from. The album was recorded in Brooklyn, NY and was produced/engineered by Alex Lipsen (Nada Surf, Santigold, Okkervil River), Matthew Houck (Phosphorescent) and Wes Jones (1984). Christoph Hahn of Swans also contributes pedal steel on the tracks "Antichrist Blues" and "Different Blues."
