Clifford Jordan's hard to find self-titled 1957 release finds the jazz visionary leading an unusual septet which includes Lee Morgan (trumpet), Curtis Fuller (trombone), John Jenkins (alto), Ray Bryant (piano), Paul Chambers (bass) and Art Taylor (drums). The killer hard bob Blue Note session yielded the titles "Not Guilty," "St. John," "Blue Shoes" and "Ju-Ba."
