Peter Gabriel 4: Security on LP from Classic Records

Peter Gabriel's fourth album Security shot straight to #6 on the UK charts in September of 1982 and "Shock The Monkey" gave him his first US Top 40 hit. Featuring mostly electronic instrumentation, extensive sampling and African and Latin percussion, the moody yet cohesive 8-song set flows gracefully from track to track with a dense production that is as stylistic as it is atmospheric. In addition to the all-time Gabriel classic "Shock the Monkey," Security's highlights include the chilling "San Jacinto" and "I Have the Touch" which was featured in the 1988 film The Chocolate War.
