Neil Young starts this compilation album off with a brilliant (and thematically appropirate) version of "I Am A Child" (He also contributes vocals to tracks by Elvis Costello and Nils Lofgren.) From there, the album takes in stellar performances by Tom Petty, Tracy Chapman, The Pretenders, Beck, Bonnie Raitt, David Bowie, Pearl Jam and Simon & Garfunkel, before closing with Patti Smith's inspiring "People Have The Power."
