The 5.5 is engineered from heavy gauge steel bars and poles, 3/4" thick MDF shelves and excellent shelf isolation. Fillable vertical columns and locking spikes for each foot round out the complement. More importantly, the 5.5 has enough space for all but the most complex systems, with a bottom shelf that has generous spacing (9.5"!) for a large power amp.
