Captain Fantastic is a conceptual album that recalls Elton and Bernie Taupin's rise to the top in the early/mid 70s and is in the vien of Tumbleweed Connection. The music bounces between country and hard rock. This is one of the last great John/Taupin albums of the 70's that is anchored by the massive hit 'Somebody Saved My Life Tonight'.
