Ernie Watts Long Road Home on XRCD

Originally released in 1996, Long Road Home finds Grammy winning saxophonist Ernie Watts in a quiet and bluesy mood performing in an acoustic quartet with Mark Whitfield (guitar), Kenny Barron (piano) and Reggie Workman (bass). The set also includes two vocal numbers with Carmen Lundy. This outstanding release was recorded direct to two track by XRCD co-creator Akira Taguchi and excellently showcases the superiority of the XRCD technology.
