The Sermon On Exposition Boulevard, Rickie Lee Jones' 2007 album, is a beauty, filled with soul-satisfying music and splendid sonics. The singer improvises the lyrics in stream-of-conscious form, her material recorded in a loft on Exposition Boulevard in Culver City, hence the album's title.
