Some bands spend more time focused on their online visibility and marketability, but this isn't the primary concern to a band like With The Punches. The band remembers the days when weekends were spent going to VFW Halls to see your favorite bands. It was about the connection you felt at shows, singing along with all your friends and their heroes just wanted to play their hearts out wherever and whenever. This feeling is what With The Punches is trying to bring back to the pop punk scene.

The band's beginning can be traced back to the long-standing friendship of lead singer Jesse Vadala and guitarist Dustin Wallace. With their mutual love of bands like The Movielife, New Found Glory, Lifetime and The Bouncing Souls, the two had talked about forming a band for quite some time. The plans didn't solidify until 2007 when Vadala moved back home to the band's native Newburgh, NY.

The two started writing songs and spreading the world about wanting to form a band. The band picked up drummer Shane Maziekien and officially formed in 2009. They immediately started recording, the result being their debut EP, Keep It Going.

Things kept moving at a rapid pace and they shared stages with bands like The Wonder Years, Man Overboard, Transit and more. They released It's Not The End of the World in early 2011 and with the addition of guitarist Vinny Guzzardi they joined Mayday Parade, The Summer Set, and Anarbor for a tour of Japan. They ended the year on a high note by signing with Doghouse Records.

2012 started with a bang as well, bringing in Mike Corvasce to play bass and releasing two new singles in "Harvard on the Hudson" and "I Told You Already." They started working on this, their new full-length, Seams and Stitches, at Barber Shop Studios in New Jersey, which features both of the aforementioned singles amongst its 12-tracks.
