Based around a fully analog design, including a solid MM phono stage, the P-3000R is a sweet preamp with an extremely low noise floor and broad dynamic range. Digital Inputs
The P-3000R is truly a product of the 21st century offering a variety of digital inputs and full 32Bit/192kHz resolution on every single one of them. Supporting Coax (x2), TosLink (x2) and AES/EBU (x1) as well as a B-style USB input (x1), the P-3000R has a shockingly complete digital section. Digital decoding is done by dual Burr-Brown 32Bit/192kHz PCM1795 DACs, one each per channel. Fully compatible with virtually any resolution output through your computer’s USB port (PC or Mac), the P-3000R ensures your digital music receives as much care as any other digital input. The USB input receiver is a 32Bit/192kHz C-Media CM6631 I/O high-speed converter which feeds the Burr-Brown DACs for maximum resolution and sound quality.

Chassis Design
Unlike so many preamps in this price range, the P-3000R's chassis is solid with little resonance and a heft which feels great but also helps keep vibration to a minimum. The faceplate is extruded aluminum with a slim-line design that gives the P-3000R a purposeful and elegant aesthetic. A matching large volume knob and source selector offer a retro look but also eliminate unnecessary complication.

• Dual Pre-Amp Outputs
  Two pairs of RCA preamp outputs allow the P-3000R to output the same signal to two devices simultaneously. Connect a subwoofer, a second zone amplifier or even an additional M-5000R power amp for biamping.
• Separate Digital/Analog Circuitry and Transformers
  Physically separated circuitry and separate transformers for digital and analog processing prevents unwanted interference and reduces noise.
• Dynamic Intermodulation Distortion Reduction Circuitry (DIDRC)
  Eliminates super-high frequency noise (above 100kHz) which affects the proper functioning of sensitive digital devices and signal clocks, effectively reducing perceptible noise and greatly improving resolution, tonal balance and soundstaging.
• Phase Locked Loop Ultra-Low Jitter Technology
  Reduces jitter by comparing the input and output phases of the digital signal to create an accurate clock waveform. Enhances precision of digital signal processing and noticeably improves audio quality.
• Side-mounted Circuit Board Construction
  The P-3000R's circuit boards are affixed to the front, side and rear panels, cushioned by internal struts to prevent chassis vibration from affecting the signal.
