Black Mamba Series
The Black Mamba series is a two-pronged approach to power delivery; Shunyata has created one cord for source components, the other for high current applications. The Black Mamba is highly recommended for all components, and works especially well with source components such as Digital Players, Turntables, Phono Stages, Preamps and Tuners. The Black Mamba HC, 30% larger than its sibling, is a high current cable designed for current hungry components, like power conditioners, amplifiers, powered speakers and subwoofers.

Construction
Shunyata CX cables all use CDA-101 copper, the highest quality copper available. Shunyata chose this high-grade copper because it has fewer impurities and is a superior electrical conductor. CDA-101 is very expensive and a large amount of it is required to build Shunyata CX cables. 140 individual CDA-101 conductors are wound into Shunyata's revolutionary and patented counter-rotating Helix geometry, which cancels noise and external interference, simultaneously improving current flow. Shunyata uses custom-made high-copper content brass AC plugs for high durability and excellent conductivity. All Shunyata CX cables are hand terminated and built here in the US!

Cryogenic Treatment
All Shunyata CX cables are Cryogenically treated, a process which provides noticeable, substantial and permanent beneficial effects. Over a period of 72Hrs, Shunyata uses liquid nitrogen to slowly lower the temperature inside the chamber to a chilly -320 Fahrenheit, then returns the item to room temperature. Shunyata is one of only a few audio manufacturers who owns their own Cryogenic chamber and they are one of the few to Cryo virtually all of the components used in their products.
