Originally released in 1968, Journey to the Center of the Mind is the second full-length release from Ted Nugent's early Detroit band The Amboy Dukes. Joining the Nuge and his lead guitar duties are vocalist John Drake and rhythm guitarist Steve Farmer with Greg Arama replacing Bill White on bass and Andy Solomon replacing Rick Lober on keyboards. Features hard-hitting, psychedelic material highlighted by the title track which peaked at #16 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 pop chart.
