Albert Lukaschek, owner of Benz-Micro celebrates his 10th anniversary as owner/designer of Benz Micro brand cartridges with the introduction of the Ruby and Reference Series 3 cartridges, the new Ebony H cartridge, new mono cartridges and further improvements to the entire line.

The Ruby 3 series features the Ruby 3 low output mc with a new coil design derived from the Benz LP symmetrical coil, stronger magnet and improved pole pieces. The new coil further reduces the generator’s moving mass and provides greater phase accuracy. The stronger magnet and new pole pieces produce a more efficient magnetic circuit, retaining the 3.5mV at 3.54cm/sec output voltage with this new lower mass coil. In addition, the new rear pole piece features a machined insert for the damper O-ring resulting in greater mechanical linearity of the suspension.
