Audio Electronics AE-3 MK II All-Tube Preamp... Handmade in the USA!

Dennis Had and his team at Cary Audio have done it again! They have just released their new 2007 version of their incredible AE-3. Now called the Audio Electronics AE-3 Mk II, this all-tube preamplifier is still all hand-built of the highest quality here in the USA. The Mk II upgrade version of this preamp offers an all new power supply design along with a beautifully redesigned chassis making it one of the best values in high end audio. The AE-3 Mk II version now has a measured frequency response of 10Hz – 200 kHz and employs two 6SN7s and one 5AR4 tube. This unit now comes standard with dual preamplifier outputs, motorized remote volume control, vacuum tube voltage rectification and remote control. Not only is this preamp the perfect match for Audio Electronics’ Super Amp Mk II or their Six Pac Monoblocks, it will also drive any power amp with the sonic magic you can only get from a tube line stage.
