The Benz MC-20E2 is a great sounding cartridge that offers much of the signature Benz sound in a less expensive package. The MC-20E2 is a music lover’s cartridge, very smooth on top with a rich, warm midrange and a natural bottom-end. Available in two versions (High and Low) the MC-20E2 High offers just enough output (2.0mV) to be used with most MM phono sections. The MC-20E2 Low (0.5mV) is compatible with most MC phono sections.

At the 2007 CES Show, everyone was buzzing about how close the MC-20E2 performance was to the kilobuck priced Benz Ref 3 Copper. We got to listen to the two side by side and although the Ref 3 Copper was obviously better, the sonic performance of these two cartridges was closer than you might think.
