So, how can 12 discs, each one scarcely the diameter of a penny and only 3/8'' tall make a difference in your system?  By eliminating the honkiness and resonance the corners of your room are injecting into your audio system! 

That explanation probably went by a little fast and that's how we felt the first time we were presented with these invaluable little tools.  However, the acoustical theory is sound (ha, ha!) and there are many measurements available to prove it.  If you're not a measurements guy, you're more than welcome to stick your head in the uppermost corner of your room while your system's playing to hear the resonance mentioned here.

The acoustical theory goes that by eliminating resonance points in the corners of your room, you are cleaning up some of the most harmful resonances in your room!  By strategically placing these discs in mathematically derived positions in the upper corners of your room, the Acoustic Discs actually cause resonance waves to break up and cancel each other out.  According to research done by Golden Sound applying the Acoustic Discs reduced cumulative spectral decay between 80 to 15kHz by 30 to 50%!  Yeah, we know.  The Acoustic Discs are tiny!  How could they possibly make that big an improvement?  Well, most midrange and all treble waves are very small and are easily broken up.  In our own tests, the Acoustic Discs made a very large improvement in system focus, soundstage dimensions and even more surprisingly improved the tonality of the system!

The most frequently asked question we get about these is Do they work?  The answer is yes and we highly recommend them, however, if you don't hear a difference in your system (every room's different) we'll be happy to take them back within 30 days.  The second most asked question is Can I use them with other room treatments?  The answer to this one is also yes.  If you already have a set of Corner Tunes or Corner Busters, try a set of the Acoustic Discs, you will be amazed at how much of an improvement they'll make.
